ADA Series: 5 lb opening force

The A2200 and AF2200 ADA Series specifications state compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and a 5 lb opening force. The 5 lb opening-force specification applies to ADA Series devices only. Confirm that the selected device is the ADA Series configuration required for your project; do not assume this specification applies to every 2200 Series device.

Rose trims feature clutch operation, while rigid escutcheon trims cover a 161 cutout. Match the outside trim function to the access requirements of the opening and confirm compatibility with the selected device.
