This edge-mounted pin and barrel type hinge is ideal for high traffic and high abuse doors. It works well in places that would normally call out for anchor hinges, pivot reinforcement hinges, or thrust pivot unit and hinge sets.
This hinge budgets on special door and frame preparation charges and makes the installer’s job simpler. It can be used on both fire labeled and non-labeled openings.
Fire-Rating:
- Classified in accordance with UBC standard 7-2 for positive pressure
- 20 minutes – wood doors
- 90 minutes – hollow metal and composite core wood fire doors
- 3 hours – hollow metal doors mounted singly
