The handed 412 Series Surface Mounted Automatic Door Bottom is designed to reduce light, sound, smoke, and fire when the door is closed.

  • Handed and disassembly of the mechanism is required to reverse the hand

  • Surface Mounted

  • Seals up to a 3/4" gap under the door

  • Recommended gap is 1/2"

  • Smoother action positive seal mechanism: Aluminum case encloses a movable drop-bar seal actuated by a jamb-contacting plunger during door closure, providing an effective seal

  • Most models available with nylon brush (NB) seals. Nylon filaments conform extremely well to irregular surfaces such as carpet, stone and grout lines

  • End plates are provided for all mounting applications

  • Drop-bar seal actuation mechanism (all models) ensures hinge-side actuation, preventing seal skidding and door hang up during closure

  • Provided at NET length

  • Can be trimmed down by as much as 2" in the field (stock lengths only).
