Pemko 434ARL Full Mortise Automatic Door Bottom, Mill Finish Aluminum with Black Sponge EPDM Insert
The 434 Series Full-Mortise Automatic Door Bottom creates a strong seal to prevent air, light, sound, fire, smoke, dust, and moisture from coming through the gap under doors. It features a low closing force mechanism that actuates a drop-down bar when the door is closed. Available with a Nylon Brush, PemkoPrene, or EPDM seal, it is custom cut to size and can be trimmed up to 2" in the field. Ideal for high-end doors, it is reversible for easy installation on wood or metal doors.
- Smooth action, positive seal mechanism.
- All Pemko automatic door bottoms consist of an aluminum case which surrounds a movable drop-bar seal.
- The drop-bar seal is actuated by a plunger which contacts the jamb as the door is closing, forcing the drop-bar seal down against the floor / threshold.
- Low Closing Force and Fully Mortise Application means this Drop Seal satisfies requirements for ANSI A117.1 and ADAAG 2010
- This automatic door bottom is supplied with a EPDM Sponge (“R”) insert – item number E4303BL (black color, only)
