The Schlage Performance Series™ PC40 delivers Grade 1 privacy for bathrooms, bedrooms, and similar spaces in commercial real estate, multifamily, and hospitality applications.

Non-keyed and built on the trusted PC Series platform, the PC40 installs fast with the standard ANSI 161 door prep and a no-adjustment chassis that fits the full door thickness range.

Function:

• Push button on inside lever locks outside lever
• Rotating inside lever retracts latch and releases button — closing door also unlocks, preventing lock-out
• Emergency unlock: insert small flat screwdriver or emergency key (part #35-270, sold separately) into outside lever slot to release button
• Inside lever always free for immediate egress
• Request to Exit (RX) available — kit sold separately
